Safintra gives back to community through QACCS partnership

The Safintra QACCS Nationals is an annual golf tournament dedicated to encouraging business relationships in the Construction Industry through golf. QACCS Golf Club (Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Consultants, Contractors & Suppliers) was established in Durban in 1976 and now boasts active clubs in other parts of the country including Bloemfontein, East London, Gauteng, George, Kimberley, Port Elizabeth, and Welkom.

Safintra has been a partner and proud sponsor of The QACCS Nationals since 2018 in order to help bridge the gap between people in our industry. Lasting relationships and business ties are forged during the course of the event which creates value not just for all partners involved, but also for the construction sector as a whole.

A hearty congratulations from all of us at Safintra to the QACCS KZN regional team for being crowned overall winners at the 2022 QACCS Nationals, which was held during May in East London. It was a thrilling tournament which we feel privileged to have been a part of, and well done to all those involved from the QACCS Border team for organising such a successful and fun event.

We also commend QACCS for the excellent CSI initiatives they continue to be involved with both internally and externally. They recently helped to sponsor the building and outfitting of a fully equipped creche at the African Angels school located in Chintsa East – a seaside village 40km outside East London. All of the school’s children are from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and African Angels aims to provide a high quality education which will enable their learners to be productive and successful members of society later in life.

Safintra will continue to support initiatives which allow us to achieve our goal of creating a platform for collaboration and industry growth through partnerships, while giving back to the communities in which we do business.
